I have had no luck trying to find out whats causing the 5000 - 5500 rpm engine rattle. Talked with dealer 3 times they were supposed to contact Honda and get back to me. Dealer rode the bike and agrees it is noisey. Has anyone got any feedback from there dealer or Honda on this subject ???

Seems strange some motors are doing it and others are not. Had the dealer look at mine and they agreed it was noisey. As I get more miles on the bike is seems to be not as loud. Maybe im just getting used to it. Maybe it will go away. We will see

I'd find it if I had access to a dyno to apply load on it.

If it's strapped down to a dyno with the fairings off, some good light, a stethoscope (I think that's the name?) and a person to hold the throttle at 4500-5500rpm in 3rd gear it would be really quite simple to find.
Please pass this on to Honda wii you

Honda has said nothing so far that i know of and thats bullshit. Many people have this problem. Many have talked to there dealer about it so honda has to be well aware of it by now. Its not something we should have to put up with

Most people on here wouldn't know an engine rattle from a tyre screech.

There's numerous ways to minimize what the inexperienced would pick up as an 'engine' rattle.

Have you tightened the gas tank bolt yet? Put in a rubber o-ring?

(I expect you'll answer 'yes' whether you have or not.)
If it was something as simple as that you would think Honda would send out a notice to all the customers that bought one. There aware of the problem and so far have not offered any help or addressed the problem in any way
