3.2mm Aluminium plate 25mm+ larger than required overall.
Mark the top bend.

Made a guage for the top bend.
My aftermarket exhaust mounts to the outside of the original exhaust hanger/rear footpeg bracket.

Nick with a hacksaw at each end helps.
Score with a scribe 2-3mm above & below the bend both sides as well.

Vice guards, Block of wood, nylon mallet, and the guage.

Heat with butane along the bend and back then act quickly.

Drilled one M8 clearance hole and bolted up with one bolt.

Mark the lower bend parallel with the exhaust, in line with the inside of the exhaust bracket.

Rinse and repeat.

Drill mounts.
Cut down to shape.
Draw file, sand, chamfer edges.
Used original bolts and added spring washers and flat washers.
Robbed one of the original bolts from the LHS for the lower hole.
Added a large M8 mudguard washer to the inside.
Bolted it up.
Always tighten an exhaust clamp then the bracket after warming up the bike.

Tested it over 2 full days, no splits or vibrations.

I am a retired sheet metal worker and I made my bracket too.
Your jerry rigging skills are cool!

I added some holes for looks. .125 aluminum Then I polished it. Black high gloss powder coat, done!

You now have a one off bike!

Nice work Auf and Randy! I would fab one, but my wife recently started enjoying cruising with me. I might bust one out but ill definatley have to replace the cheapo peg. And changing one peg means changing them all. And furthermore, if i replace the front pegs i might as well replace the heel guards.... One thing leads lol. Nice work on both though. Clean lines.
