this morning i turned on my bike to warm it up and as i was putting on my helmet and gloves watching it idle i noticed it dripping on the ground. i started looking for where the drip was coming from (expected it to be condensation but wanted to be sure) and started seeing puffs of exhaust coming from under the bike.
im thinking this was happening because the bike was so cold the metal parts were not seated from the heat yet. but i was wondering if anyone else had seen this happen?
also, how does backpressure from an exhaust pipe change how an engine runs and could having a leak like this that changed the back pressure for some exhaust strokes change how the bike idles?

if anyone can explain how to look into the connection and make sure its as tight as i can get it it would be helpful.

If you look at bottom of muffler there is a small hole for to drain any moisture. Mine drips when it cold out also. Hole helps to keep muffler from rusting out
