The tip on my Carbon Fiber Slip is fading fast. This pipe is less than 3 months old and it has less than 500 miles. Its def not sun exposure as it sits in a dark garage mainly. Cheap Carbonfiber? Anyone have experience. Anything i can do to stop it?

More than likely cheap carbon fiber, yes. Where did you buy it? I would contact the seller first and if that doesn't yield any results contact Akrapovic. If, for nothing else, to let them know what a cheap POS their pipe is.

Mine is fine, but I do use Inox on it from new.
This pipe is no cheap POS, its just that the moulded tip is made from different material to the body. so it will colour differently.

Inox is a dry lubricant designed to lubricate a surface and protect it such as (WD40) but unlike WD40 it will also keep it dry and non sticky you could also try use graphite powder...

Correct CBR, No acids so safe for fibreglass etc, and no silicon so no sticky residue.

2-3 times the price of WD40 but better and lasts longer.
