First ride of the season in Germany

Well, it seems the cold, snow, and ice has finally went away here in Germany. So I gave the bike a god once over, and a full tank, and was on my way. The roads here are amazing, with a wide range of uphill and downhill, and a great mixture of amazing mountain roads. No pics yet, but I can report that it is now riding season here in south Germany. And I couldn't be more pleased.

:D:cool:

Those rolling hills would make a good environment for motorcycling. Unfortunately I have only ever traveled in that area on a tourist bus, visiting Nueschwanstein castle.
But I imagine some of those roads would also be a fairytale ride, on a motorcycle. :)
The roads around Fussen, Heidleberg and Augsburg look like heaps of fun. I lived in Germany for four years back in the 80's but never got down south.

Enjoy :)
