Ok it's time for my CBR's first state inspection, can you guys/gals tell me what to expect? Do they just look it over and make sure lights work, etc? Do they have to ride it at all?

the place we went to for my bike's inspection, the person there didn't ride our bike. he got my dad to ride it in a circle, then put on the brakes, then turn on the lights and honk the horn. took less than 5 minutes to complete.

Unless you have trashed your bike or done radical mods, you have nothing to worry about. Wont take long. When I had mine done it was raining and the tech said since I rode it up there it must work fine. TX.

TX MC inspection is just a safety inspection.

Tread depth, brake/tail/head lights, turn signals if equipped, horn and brakes.
