Today i did a small ride ( around 20km) and after getting home noticed my bike right fork is leaking, searched this forum for suggestions and tried cleaning them. However after opening the dust cover i think the right fork is a total loss, the fork case was heavily rusted and when cleaning the fork seal i got a lot of rust debris from it. Its still leaking a little.
I am thinking in replacing it completely since the fork is scored by the debris, can this be a problem for the handling of the bike(one new , one old)?

Bike is a cbr 250r 2013

Yes, replace the entire right fork leg... it will cost far less as a complete assembly than trying to rebuild it.

Just got an used replacement in very good shape of the whole assembly. Should i change the oil on my left one or they dont required it? Searched the manual but didnt found any service interval for it, the bike has around 28000km (17000 miles) on it.

I would definitely replace the oil in the left fork at the same time as replacing the right fork.
