There's got to be an easier way to swap the windscreen.
None, all the screws are hidden behind the nose cowl on the inside and you have to also remove the mirrors as they hold the screen in as well.

no other way trust me.

Macca...I was wondering what tools were needed to do this?
I am getting my friday and would like to install it myself rather than dealing with 85 dollar an hour labor.

all you really need is some allan keys and a metric socket set.

a nice 10" long extension makes life easy and a breaker bar to undo the bolts holding the nose cone on

Do you need a torque wrench to tighten to any specifics???? the ones holding the nose on etc

Nah you wont need a torque wrench.

Quinn Why be tight, the car of spray would be nearly as much as the screen

Minutes? Nope still have to take the whole nose off.

The mirrors and the frame on the inside have bolts n still that hold it on.

I didn't break anything when I changed mine.

seems with the right tool you could replace the wind shield
in minutes.
is there something holding it on besides those little tabs that you can see?

Took me a few hours. As Macca says the nose has to come off to get to the last set of screws holding it on. Mirrors, and console have
to come off as well. Impossible to do it in minutes....no special tools required.
