All dealers should charge batteries as part of the pre delivery.(if new bike)

You wont need to remove the battery to charge it (if secondhand).. just be careful putting the alligator clips on.

The bikes 3 months old and not been used. I wanted to remove the battery as this is recommended in the manual and is good practice as with a car battery.

in order to get to the battery, you just take the passenger seat off,

then you take the main seat off, which is strapped down by 2 bolts that can be taken off with an L-wrench.

the L-wrench that comes with the bike didnt fit to take mine off so i had to use a different one from the toolbox.

once u take the seat off the battery is there, strapped down.
