The lever feels like it's grinding. Where do I grease this thing and is this normal after 700 miles? It still has full play as far as pulling and releasing but it just feels like it's catching at some point.

Theres a nut on the under side of the chrome screw holding handle on. There is a metal bushing in handle that rides on the screw. Mine didnt have any grease on it. My front brake lever has alot of grease on it.

Back the adjuster off fully.
Release the cable so it stands vertically
squirt wd40 down the cable working it up and down,
follow up with some engine oil and work that down the cable.
Remove the nut underneath with 10mm spanner
remove the bolt on the lever with large flatblade screwdriver
antiseize or grease the bolt and pivot point.
reinstall lever and cable with 10-12mm freeplay.

Cable will last a lifetime and feel so much better.
I did mine before even riding the bike.

Dealer is booked until the end of the month. I'm already over 600 and will be closer to 900 by then.

As with any new or used vehicle , you should go over it. Make sure no loose bolts & greased were i should be. The first week i buy a bike i go over & take off panels & such to check for stuff that needs repaired. In a large industrial enviroment you will have stuff that is missed. Nature of the beast
