Its a pretty simple question. Theres a lot of people loyal to only one brand of vehicle. While some tend to buy a lot from one manufacturer. So is this your first or have you owned any others prior to purchasing this?

This will be my first Honda. I was always interested in getting one before but didn't find anything I liked until I saw the CBR250.

Honda Supercub 50 (stolen), Honda Supercub 110 (awesome grocery getter), Honda Spacy 100 (sold), and now the 250R. After having Yamaha and Suzuki maintenance nightmares I'm totally sold on Honda.

All those Hondas, not a SINGLE unscheduled maintenance issue. Ever. Feels good man.

A 250XL as a teen in the Eighties.
A DC750C Shadow Spirit for 5 years just before the CBR.

A Civic Si hatchback in '86, followed by a '92 Accord EX sedan and then a '96? Civic EX. I'm on to my second Subaru now.

Only the CBR in the garage now.

My very first bike was a Honda. 1985 Honda Nighthawk 450.
I haven't owned any other Honda bikes until the CBR250R came along.

Nighthawk 250 and 750. The 750 was too heavy and to cold natured for me but it sure was robust. Air/oil cooled which is fine in Northern CA, simple, and self adjusting valves.
I also owned a Civic HX - that was a disaster and had me running back to Toyota. Tranny failed before 100,000 miles (Honda paid part of the repair), fuel pump failed at 120k, two oxygen sensors failed, compliance bushing issues caused tire wear and were expensive to sort and I can't even remember all the other things....got rid of it at 130k having spent $6000 on repairs/maintenance over the 7 years I owned it. Just terrible compared to Toyotas (or even American cars). I'm used to doing practically nothing but oil and tires until 150k.
