Hello From Bali

Hello my friends regards from Bali. This is my first purchase of a 250cc bike. I find that this bike is already too fast to be used on Bali's roads but fortunately this bike is awesome in heavy traffic condition and on Balinese highway. Also the after sales are good where they have 22 official CBR workshops compared to other bike company which only have 1 official workshop in Bali.

Did you have a bigger CC bike before?

I've Tried my friends R1

Bali is an island located in Indonesia. Yes I have tried my friend's R1 but that bike was just too big, Too furious and too exhausting to be used Right Here in the island of Bali. Here are some pictures. Thank's.

Did you remove the main headlight to get the pic with just the two "eye" lights?

Thank's I'll upload more photos in the future when I go to exotic beaches of Bali with this bike. it's got a switch button to turn on both the eyelights and main headlight or just the eyelights. I've tried 153 kph with this bike, I could've gone faster but I was a bit scared cause in Bali you might get dogs passing on the road suddenly or people doing u turn suddenly.

Where is the button to just have the eye-lights on? Can you take a picture of the button's location? The only light control I see appears to be the low/high beam switch.

It's the button to turn on the headlight. It's got 3 position; off, mid position is for eyelights and fully slide to the left is for both eyelights and main headlight. I'll post the picture when I get back home.

Do you guys think the US version will have the same switch/option? I thought all (modern US) bikes had to always have the headlight on to be street-legal.

If you don't mind posting a pic that would be great! From the layout I have seen in a picture it looks like it's just a toggle between high and low beams, then turn signal and horn.

Thanks for adding the pictures so quickly!

So , yeah it looks like the pictures I have seen don't include the light switch on the right handlebar. I guess we won't know for sure till we see the bikes here, but I am guessing that the bikes are still region specific other than the engine's emission standards.

No worries mate. I used the camera on my phone and then upload it straight from the phone but the pictures look so low in quality.

They look different, the picture that you uploaded doesn't have the light switch that I have on my bike. I think they're gonna be a little different in every country. but I think the emission standard is about the same. I get 29.5 km per liter.

The law in Canada is that the vehicle must have running lights. The two eyes could easily pass as running lights. So we may see the switch in Canada. Like everything else we will just have to wait until an actual bike is here.

Hi all CBR250 lover,
The Indonesian version has 2 differences from the global version:
1.Additional license plate.
2.Light switch at the right handlebar.
