Hello my friends regards from Bali. This is my first purchase of a 250cc bike. I find that this bike is already too fast to be used on Bali's roads but fortunately this bike is awesome in heavy traffic condition and on Balinese highway. Also the after sales are good where they have 22 official CBR workshops compared to other bike company which only have 1 official workshop in Bali.

The law in Canada is that the vehicle must have running lights. The two eyes could easily pass as running lights. So we may see the switch in Canada. Like everything else we will just have to wait until an actual bike is here.
yeah, as long as there is no "off" option, there is no reason to not have the switch between eyes on/headlight off and all on here either. I hope it's not just Indonesia that gets that switch.

--Hi all CBR250 lover,
The Indonesian version has 2 differences from the global version:
1.Additional license plate.
2.Light switch at the right handlebar.

Rgds,
Deddy--
Has the difference with the switch and place holder been verified as only for Indonesia, or are you just guessing that based on pictures?

Well, the CBR250R sold in Indonesia are like that.
In fact I don't like the position of the number plate.. :(
Let's see what you 'll have in Canada.

Where else can they possible put the license plate holder?

in the Honda Astra website, the gallery is showing the global style switches... not the indonesian's one.... guess we have to rely on our indonesian friends to show any other differences..

To be honest, I have no idea.....
Australian version doesn't have the Indonesian light switch unfortunately ...
Maybe you could add the switch by modifying it a bit. Eye lights look good on photograph, it might be worth it to modify it.

I will probably look into doing this mod....when the bikes actually arrive.
I was wondering if the switch is just on off here in Canada. Off position might just be the "eye" lights because they have to be on by law (running lights). So the on position would be the main head light. Just a thought.
But it must have the off switch for both lights as well. We call it the quarter light in Bali and it's commonly used between 5 to 6:30 pm and 6:30 pm upwards we use both lights.

prima, can u ask for the price of the right handle assembly (one that have the 3 switches)

i might wanna order it from u though... looks kinda slick with only the quarter lights
Welcome

For how long did you have the cbr?

Funny to see a licenceplate at the front, lucky we dont have that here :)
Hahaiiii yes we must put two license plates, front and rear. I have it for 1 month now.

Naaim. I will. Actually I just got info from the technician that these three option switch is for indonesia because the rule for running light is still confusing in indonesia and that's why we have the switch for three options.

thanks bro. it's always on law here... but having the ability just to Quarter Light is way cooler for this bike.
I spoke with the salesman this afternoon regarding the switch and he said it's not a Prioritized cbr part, so it will not be available for awhile
Hello guys. I was riding out of town up to the hills down on the side of the beaches with my buddy riding a ninja. I felt the true power of my cbr for the first time. The torque was crazy from 4000 to 10000 rpm. Keeping up with my friend's ninja was easy, though he's got racing pistons, yoshimura muffler and racing cdi. The thing that really amaze me was the fuel consumption, it consume 1 litre for 38 km with mostly riding at 80 to 110 kmh. We reached 156 a few times when the roads were clear. We went trough many turns, this bike is a really good bike with fantastic handling.
