Hello everyone. Been a long time reader of this forum since deciding to get back into riding after a couple of decades off. Did the MSF thing, got my license, and had narrowed my choices down to the CBR or the Ninja 250. Ultimately the Honda won for a couple of reasons that were important to me. I like the option of ABS and standard EFI.

Ready to go buy this thing if I could just find a dealer that has an ABS model. If not, I'll order and wait.

Looking forward to seeing you on the road.

I was going to get the abs model too, but after reading the rear brake when applied controlled the rear brake and front brake simoltaneously I changed my mind,
Abs is a nice feature if you plan to ride in the rain. Otherwise I'm not sure you'll need it with this bike. My first bike was my only means of transportation for two winters and I never wished for abs brakes. I wished puddles didn't exist, I wished water proof motorcycle gloves lived up to there name, hot coco, bourbon, summer ect.
Hope all goes well for your search

Nice..:) I'm going to call a couple dealers today and see if I hear any new information regarding the elusive ABS model. Both locations I've been to had both colors in the non-ABS model. Or as GreyMatter calls it...the unicorn. haha
