Hello from Minnesota!

Hi All!

My name is Drew and I just put down a deposit for a black '11 CBR250R due in sometime this April or May. This will be a 60 mile/day commuter replacing my '04 VT750DC that was totaled last fall. :mad:

I don't mind the wait, and since I'm in MinneSNOWta, it will another 4 to 6 weeks before the start of riding season anyway. :)

Now I've got time to figure out which accessories I want to get. :D

Sounds good. I'm south of the Twin Cities in Northfield. Just of I-35.

Having a blast on it. Four 30 miles trips so far - dealer -> home, home -> work, work -> home, home-> work.

The dealer got 2 bikes for the store I had my deposit with. They have three stores in the metro area, but I didn't ask what the other stores got. Probably two bikes each - a red non-ABS & a black non-ABS. I had the 2nd deposit and got the black one. :) :D :D

Welcome to the forum. I used to go to Brainerd International Speedway a lot when I lived above Minnesota. Do you have any plans on taking in some AMA this summer?

I've never been up to BIR. It's about 180 miles north of me. I might have to check out the CRA Superbike Racing later this season.

Rvoknio - if you go to a CRA event this year make sure you tell them Coach says hi.
My dad was the chief instructor there for 10 years. Great bunch of people and organization.

Picked up a red one this morning in the Twin Cities.
Went into the dealership yesterday to get parts for my Rebel and they had one on the floor.
Bought it on the spot. Got it for MSRP plus TTL no freight or set up costs!

It is a blast, much more nimble then the Rebel or my VTX1300.
I am suprised at how well it jumps out into traffic.
