Hi All!

My name is Drew and I just put down a deposit for a black '11 CBR250R due in sometime this April or May. This will be a 60 mile/day commuter replacing my '04 VT750DC that was totaled last fall.

I don't mind the wait, and since I'm in MinneSNOWta, it will another 4 to 6 weeks before the start of riding season anyway.

Now I've got time to figure out which accessories I want to get.

Was your dealer short on bikes or back order?

Having a blast on it. Four 30 miles trips so far - dealer -> home, home -> work, work -> home, home-> work.

The dealer got 2 bikes for the store I had my deposit with. They have three stores in the metro area, but I didn't ask what the other stores got. Probably two bikes each - a red non-ABS & a black non-ABS. I had the 2nd deposit and got the black one.

Welcome to the forum. I used to go to Brainerd International Speedway a lot when I lived above Minnesota. Do you have any plans on taking in some AMA this summer?

I've never been up to BIR. It's about 180 miles north of me. I might have to check out the CRA Superbike Racing later this season.
