Welcome to the forum.

Before anyone answers that, do you realize that changing the tire size of a motorcycle also changes its handling characteristics? It came from the factory with the perfect sized tires.

When you get on the track there will be plenty of advice there. Real racers race, not bench race.

Bigger tires do not lean farther over. They put a little bit more rubber on the road, but this bike does not make enough power to use it. Bigger tires weigh more and have more rotating mass and are harder to accelerate. Honda does know what they are doing.

Racers use to shave rubber OFF their tires to do many strange things, and then there are rain racing tires.

Good Luck!

So you cant corner using a 140mm tyre on a 4 inch rim ?
Best you find a new track day coach and learn to keep the bike upright more before you highside and bite the big one.

btw- Moto3 riders run 125mm tyres on 3.5 inch rims which is also perfect for that size rim, on a bike thats half the weight and twice the HP of a cbr250.
