Honda Adds Four Motorcycles to US Lineup

Coming from a GSXR1000 which fulfilled my main purpose to go crazy fast, the only good looking bike i see above with the power i need is the Sabre.

Older Sabre's sounded pretty good to me and it's a pure cruiser with raw power, v-twin!
exhaust note sounds quite nice to me...

You had a GSXR1000 and now ride a twin? May be okay torque, but a Gixxer leaves any V short of a Ducati for dead.

That's right, i had a GSXR1000. Never owned a twin but I like them, might even consider one. Gixxer is the obvious choice for speed but these days i just want to cruse, no more speedy gonzales anymore.

Also watching shows like OCC really make you want to convert to a twin haha.

But for now i need a A to B bike, so the cbr250r could just be my next pickup until i have the coin for a really nice twin.

I get that. Makes sense. I like all machines, as long as they are done right. THough I don't think I'd want a chopper (or at least to have to pay for one) I think they can look cool.

The CBR has my interest too -- I guess obviously since I'm here.

Then again, if you want a twin, there's always the Ninja 250R ha ha ...

(Guess not, huh?)

Because they're Hondas and they look cool (at least a couple of them).

We hardly need more big bikes. We need more smaller displacement machines like the CBR250r, a 350, a 450 (oh, at least I have one of those, & its an '82 vintage machine). They have in their heads Americans ALL want huge, gas guzzlers that produce as much HP as autos. We don't ALL want them. An updated CBR350r - Fuel Injected, ABS version with the innovation they put into this 250 would be VERY NICE.

More of the same as what has been coming out for the past couple of decades. OK, maybe repackaged to look "traditional", and maybe some technology updates. To me, pretty boring really.

The CBR 250 R is a fresh take on a neglected class, which is why I find it exciting, and so do many others. It is economical, and suitable for day to day transport, but at the same time it uses modern technology and is sporty and attractively designed. It is a breath of fresh air.
