REdline: awesome pictures there mate! Shes a stunner in black! Lovely indeed.

One more query, are you considering changing to better tyres?? I guess the stock ones are IRC correct??

And did Honda provide you a manual with the bike giving any special running-in instructions?? PRetty curious to know of it.

Cheers!

Yes, the stock are the IRC roadwinners. I personally find them okay for my riding, as I do a lot of city commuting, and not a lot of rain. But they're certainly nothing special. If I lived in the country with lots of twists and turns everyday then I'd certainly think about it.

I've done a few rides to the twisties and the tyres are good once they're warmed up on a hot day. They actually been better than I expected them to be. In the cold, in rain I wouldn't be confident pushing them into the corners.

Some info in here:

I can only say to listen to my posts and research it yourself.

Read up on it yourself. The last thing an engine needs is to be babied. This will result in loss of power, engine problems and loss of engine life. An engine doesn't have to be broken in like it used to 20 years ago, but it's important to ride that baby hard the first few hundred km.

And to change the oil and oil filter about 200km in.

I haven't really looked but have seen some people mentioning the lack of tyres available so far.

I've seen pics of them with pirellis on, and think they're the only manufacturer to have ones so far.

I personally do quite a bit of millage, mostly on ordinary streets so upgrading to tyres with half the lifespan as the IRC wouldn't be worth it I don't think.
