I was unable to locate a thread about it.

Does it only involve removing 2 bolts?

Yes just losen the clamp bolt, then the hanger.

Carefully slip it off so as to not damage the graphite ring.

Prepare to be shocked at the weight!

Excellent! I assume the slip-on just installs in reverse fashion.

Thanks!

When you do put the slip-on on, keep everything loose.
Fit the bracket the best way ie.. inside/outside the hanger, also try the bracket both ways if its a cheapie with no instructions.
make sure the exhaust is all the way forward over the graphite ring.
Line everything up in all directions, but keep the bolts loose till you start the bike and idle it.
Then tighten the 2 bolts when you are happy with the way it sits.
Remember exhausts expand with heat.

Idk but it sounds very good. A bit pricey @ $420 but well worth it.

I Love the sound of the exhaust and definitely makes you more noticeable on freeways, in my case. I bought mine for around the same price and the dealer installed it on the bike before I picked it up.

Looking good.
I bought the exhaust through my dealer but they wanted $80 to install it.

It took me an hour to install it but would have been quicker if I had an extra set of hands to hold pieces in place.

would be interested to know if you guys noticed any difference in low end torque having the "power tip" installed, compared to no "pwr tip"(noise difference is obvious).

I definitely feel a small increase in torque aside from that, the sound difference is outstanding.

Has a real deep idle. Sounds sick!
