called a shop today and talked about getting my cbr250 serviced,

he says he might need to order the filter but can do the rest of the service,then to come back to do the oil change,

i asked him isnt that the main purpose of the service lol..anyways,how much should the first time service cost?

he said around 200-300$..and he said that he doesnt think the valve adjustment is needed on the first service..he said maybe around 16,000 miles...

in that case just load it up on the truck lmao..yep i guess he means the price sheet,what each service costs. hmm well they better check my valves then and not up the price.

ive been quoted 350$(200 without valve),280$+parts,210(i believe without valve check) and one shop still doesnt have a price for me...

285$ for parts and labor

175$ without valve check,he said it doesnt get checked untill 16,000 miles

he hasnt.i called back and he thought i was talking about a cbr600,his boss called honda to get the parts n service list,he told me 311$+ parts.. i guess the 285$ total sounds the best..though i forgot which shop it was lol

found a dealer with the oil filter in stock,will do the full service for 230$ and the problem was they closed by the time i got there,and i was doing 70-85 the whole way i maganed to due 92mph on the freeway slightly going uphill..

when i got there,there was a chopper leaving,i believe he worked there,and someone else who worked there who was helping a guy load up up dirt bike,he said there was no way for me to leave the bike there since everything was locked up. so i guess i have to try for tomorrow.

i was at about 5:30 miles..now im prolly at 600-610
