HRC CBR has map adjustable ECU
HRC has announced race CBR250R in 24th, March.
Biggest change from regular CBR is that it has special ECU with following function.
-Adjustable fuel and ignition map (program kit sold seperately)
-memorize 2 maps and changeable with remote switch.
-+300rpm rev limit .
-quick shifter function with remote switch (for hand operation).
-pit-lane rev-limit function with remote switch.
-requires special harness.

ECU-¥25,000
Harness-¥14,800
other sensors&switchs-¥39,000
setting tool-¥37,800

BTW, Honda's original race called "CBR-Cup" is starting this year. No official regulation has announced yet, but there is rumar that no piggyback nor stand-alone ECU is permitted.
I have to buy all that to compete in CBR-CUP??

So almost the price of a new bike for that... not including the aftermarket pipe you're probably going to want to go with it.

Sounds like a ripoff to me. Good idea but not for the price
Its for racing. Welcome to the racing world where nothing is ever cheap or reasonable. With the classic line of "If you have to ask how much it costs you're probably in the wrong sport." Considering there's not a ton more you can do to the bikes anyway its not that crazy and depending on the popularity of CBR250R's on the track the price can come down somewhat. Doesn't really shock me personally.
