Fairings are under $200 and I don't think the tank is that much. But if the frame is scratched I would bet they total it just in case it's got more frame damage. The parts damage is always way way worse than you think,
And look at that one, Fairings & tank would cost more than the bike does.
here in Oz they'll write a bike off for a simple fall over on one side.
$140 apiece for fairings and gas tank before added shipping costs.,..I would say replacing all parts that need replacing that I can see in the photos will probably run $5-$600..maybe more....its the labor intensive repair that is going to hurt..$70 an hour racks up fast...heck man..dealers charge $300 just to change the oil and check valves...if its 2/3 cost of the bike total....insurance adjuster will total it for sure..even then you will just get book value (depreciated value) so be prepared to shell out even more $ if you want to buy a new one with more sales tax,doc fees ect ...ect..Fairings are under $200 and I don't think the tank is that much. But if the frame is scratched I would bet they total it just in case it's got more frame damage.
