Wow what a machine, much better than my cbr125, the 250 is more firm in its frame.

Although a pity that it doesnt have the same "grunt" as mine (which is even standard exhaust), its an ugly exhaust on the 250, but i can live with it :)
What a torque!

I took my licence on a yamaha 660xt, and it felt like the same torque, im really impressed

I drove with others larger bikes at the test today, a dude driving behind me on a honda (cbr 600 something) was impressed that i could keep up with them :)
I gotta have it, i just lowered the price on mine severel thousands to get rid of it :)
Last of april will i know if i won the 250, but can i really wait so long?? :), i think i buy it before that, I usually never win anyway :)

Agree.

Compared to smaller bikes it's like a slingshot as soon as you let out the clutch. not only because of the extra cc but because of the low end torque too.

And the sound is terrible. Gotta change that pipe.

But the feel, as you say, compared to smaller bikes is a world of difference. The sturdiness it has at 150kph is amazing.

Gotta go into work tmro (sunday) and I know the normally busy roads will be empty. It makes getting up on a sunday morning more than worthwhile. :)
Maybee competitors will produce better exhaust soon :)

I reached 140kmt in no time, (just like you said) i look at speedometer and where suddenly driving over 150kmt.
Theres lot af torque driving at 110kmt and then pushing it - i have been missing such torque on mine :)
And WATCH that speedo when driving 50kmt :) (50kmt is speedlimit in our cities)

I liked the gearchange too, its more firm and more room for feet, much better

Does anybody having trouble with rust?
Where do you live, Kim?

Denmark

Its 6 Am here sonday, are not usually up so early, it must be the test riding on the 250 that did it :D
Bad news from dealer just now - cbr 250ra arrives 2.may to Denmark
Tough Break. Think of the bright side. You've been able to test the bike. :)

Yes i was actually warned about it by you guys, so no big surprise :)

havent you been able to test the bike?

When will you all get yours?
Nope no testing for me. Sat on one in January at the Bike Show in Toronto. Not a good time of year to Test any bike in Canada. A wee bit too cold. Plus non of the Dealers have offered any testing. Now I do think that my dealer will be doing some kind of launch/testing this weekend. Which leads me to believe I should be getting my bike at the same time. Maybe I'm just being hopeful like the rest of us. I'll let you all know as soon as I get it.

Have they confirmed a test/launch for this weekend?
Sounds about right the CBR250 is a nice bike but the exhaust note sounds like a pile of crap!
