I just purchased a Sena smh10 Bluetooth kit. My question is... Is there a way to hook up my iPhone to the battery so I can go long distances using the iPhone GPS directions without it draining the phone battery? I'm sure it exists, just don't know how to find it, thanks!

I know they make mounts, and I'm sure you can find a glare reducing screen protector, but I'm intending on just listening to the directions as that's what I do in the car anyways.

My mate uses his iPhone4s with a RAM mount ...
That's probably what I'll do, is there any drilling or permanent body modification involved? I'm not looking for a suction cup or anything like that just hoping to be able to return the bike to stock at some point (or at least have the option to)

The RAM mount just goes into the head of the bolt at the centre of the steering stem (which is normally covered by a black plastic cap). It has a hole in it which the RAM mount screws into. So returning to stock is just a matter of unscrewing the RAM mount and replacing the cap.

I have an adapter that plugs in to my battery tender cable and gives me a USB outlet on the other end. Been using it for my cell phone, iPod and GPS for about a year and had no problems ever.
Picked it up here: Index
