Tyga Performance - Racing Step Kit, CBR250R 2011 on - Step Kit Assemblies

Just got these in the mail and installed them right away. It took me about 45 min to install. The bike shifts and brakes so much smoother than it did before and the new foot pegs feel a lot better. If you are looking for a new rearset these are a great investment. First impressions after riding around the neighborhood, I love them.. But I will post an update in a few days after riding to see how they break in..

Nice

I'd be more willing to order parts through Tyga but their shipping rates are high.

Sounds awesome mate, this is definitely next on my list! I'll also be getting the Street GP racing rear cowl, but the rearset will be first. Good to hear the shifting + pegs are comfortable, I wasn't sure how they'd compare to the stock rubber ones. I'm an average 5' 11", and have been recently cruising down straight (and relatively empty) roads with my heels on the pillion pegs, my mate told me it looks retarded but at least I got an "overkill" feeling for what a modified rearset would be like - iirc the tyga stepkit is 30mm back and 25mm up, which should help with corners in the hills, too :D

ya the shipping rates are really high but they got here in under a week so I cant complain! Also to make the order worth it got a bunch of other little things for the bike as well lol..

jubis - ya we are about the same size and it puts your feet and legs in a nice position, only thing for me the shifter is more near the middle of my foot than my toes but there are adjustments you can make to it.. But I can shift a lot faster and smoother now, and(I dont know if anyone else has had this problem but) I dont have to worry about getting stuck in neutral trying to get into first gear.. sometimes at a stop if i go into neutral it would get stuck, now just the slightest tap pops it in first.

Yeah if you're planning on buying from TYGA save up and bulk buy. Some of their small stuff they won't charge shipping for when you purchase other stuff, and the way they pack their boxes indicates the price goes down the more you buy.

First purchase was $125, shipping was $50 (40% of sale price)
Second purchase was $235, shipping was $78 (33% of sale price)

Could also be because I purchased a tank pad, new bar ends, and some rivets, which don't weigh much and don't take up much space.
