You'd also have to switch the clutch and front brake levers. Never heard of it but sure someone who had no or limited use of a hand must have done some modification like this.

Appreciate the response, and I probably should have clarified why I was asking the question.

I have limited range of motion in my right hand as a result of a minor birth defect.
Upon successfully completing the MSF Basic Rider Course recently on a standard motorcycle I came to the conclusion that I would have better control of the throttle if it was on the left handlebar. During the training course, I felt like I had sufficient control operating the front brake with my right hand, so that was not an issue.

Yes, I am a new rider who is seriously considering buying a Honda CBR250R.
