Helmets often have a metal ring sewed in their strap.Yea but guys all you have to do if someone wanted to remove the helmet is unstrap the helmet.....=( or am I mistaken and do you use some other way to secure it with the provided strap LOL
You should have a small black plastic bag strapped down under the back part of the seat (the part you remove with the key). In that bag will be an allen wrench and the hemet cable.Just looked... There's nothing underneath the seat. Just my insurance.
What comes with the toolkit? -I'll have to go talk to the dealership
Oh nice tip... thanks monkey boyThat helmet cable that comes with it is a pain in the ass. Get a gun lock, one like a padlock but with the cable on it. Cable it to the handle bars thru the brake or clutch cables or rear sets etc. Works easy and most police depts give them away free.
No prob Swamp buddyOh nice tip... thanks monkey boy
Great tip, perfect size, coated to prevent scratches.. I tossed one in my amazon basket for my next order. THANKS!That helmet cable that comes with it is a pain in the ass. Ummm...not being smart or anything but after reading and then re-reading your post some more...I still cant make a lick of sense out of any of it??? LOLWhen people buy a helmet, it's head, do not keep it. People have to remember to change the motorcycle lock in a few seconds.
