Some dealers no longer have key cutting services, but they should be able to refer you to an approved locksmith with the ability to replace your key.

you should've received a small metal plate with some numbers on it as a unique code, present this to a key-cutter; otherwise you're screwed ;)

This is why I have two or three duplicates cut from the "original" key(s) after buying a bike and store the originals in my dresser.

with unreliable poor memory i took my key
directly to a locksmith who cut 3 new keys
[$8 each on strong genuine bike blanks]
one lives in wallet or ignition, one handy at home,
one in bikes documents etc folder with code plate
and one key taped securely inside my helmet,,

thought of attaching a key box to some hidden
yet accessible spot inside fairing or whatever
but wallet, helmet and same spot at home
have done the trick so far :)

The dealer is the best option but if you don't have the little metal plate it's gonna cost big bucks lol.

Looks like these assemblies come with keys. Not sure how you would go about getting a matched set; would probably end up with one key for the ignition and a different one for the gas cap.
