The only way you are going to lower the bars with that method would be to take off the fairings and mount the clip ons under the top triple like true sport bikes do. Other than there are aftermarket clip ons that just go a bit lower. I got a set of vortex clipons. They are lower but the fairing gets in the way so much that you have to have your brake lever angle way to far up and you will get rubbing from the throttle cables when at full lock to both the left and right.
I ended up getting a Venhill Duel throttle cable kit, CBR1000RR throttle tube housing and switch gear. This allowed me to face the throttle cables up and go over the brake master. I now don't have any fitment issues but the bars really aren't much lower from stock. This was a lot DIY but if you're up to it you can do something similar.

I just ordered a slip on exhaust (Scorpion serket, Carbon fiber) and i was wondering does anyone here already own this pipe? Sorry for my english, not my first language.
Being very tall I would like a bit more reach between my rear end and the pegs. It also wouldn't hurt having more cushion on that seat. ;)
Has anyone heard of taking the cover off the seat, adding more foam, than putting the cover back on?
Doable? Any links/examples?
