so i wake up this morning and happened to look out the window, notice a scrap of paper on the bike, from surrey safer neighbourhoods, give them a call and they say a couple of guys walked down the road at 2am in a boisterous mood and ripped offa pair of car wing mirrors and knocked over my bike which police came along and picked up again. On looking at the bike again theyve scratched up both foot pegs and the mirror on the left side, snapped the clutch lever and bent the gear shifter, on the bike ive had 3 days! Sods law i guess.
Took it round the block and it seems to work ok so just cosmetic but still a PITA. Anyone got any idea what those parts cost in the UK, see if its worth touching it up?

Geez, that sucks! Happy to gear the bike is running fine. I have no idea what the parts will cost but I'm thinkin you could get a decent security cam system for around $150us!

Or even better, a bike security system that will wake you up if your bike is even jiggled.

I love my garage!

As long as no painted parts were damaged, I would think you could replace the parts yourself for less than $200USD. Just guessing - no time to check the websites.

OK - so I'm too anal to let it go. From this website: Honda OEM Parts | Honda Parts House

clutch lever - $10.32
Left mirror - $30.59 (see Upper Cowl)
Shift lever - $13.50 (see Pedal)
Foot peg, Rider - $14.28
Footpeg, Pillion - $9.17

Total - $77.83 = @ £48.

You will probably need some minor tools.

P.S. How is your side stand?

Sorry to hear that, wjhall. Sure would like to catch the little bastards in the act doing sh!t like this... they deserve nothing less than a severe beating.

I've no idea how Honda parts are priced in the UK, here in the US the parts that you need are not very expensive for the CBR250R.

The stand seems to be ok, maybe i shouldve had an alarm fitted but im moving soon and itll stored off the road then. Guess ill have to give the dealer a call then. Is there like a parts catalogue or something like that somewhere so i can look up part numbers?

You can look up parts online. Try powersportsplus.com

This probably isn't what you want to hear, but, straighten the lever (yes, you can put it in a vise and pry or beat it back to "about right") and ignore the rest.

Most bikes go over sooner or later (mine almost always sooner). Avoid repeating this anguish when the proposed for replacement parts get scratched again, by not replacing them.
