Any good sport touring festivals. I'm thinking of riding up to Americade next spring. Is it fun or has it gotten too big and overcrowded?

Any good sport touring festivals. I'm thinking of riding up to Americade next spring. Is it fun or has it gotten too big and overcrowded?

All of them suck. Full of fat assed accountants on their over polished Wings/HD's. Go for a ride (Not that weekend!) in the 'dacks or Placid /VT instead!

Here's a ride I did a few weeks ago. The 6 Gaps ride. Google it. Close to you and a great ride. Might want to wait until they've finished with Irene cleanup though.

Ameriade could be fun,farther than I want to go for that type of event. Aerostich put on a boring rally once a year, that ould be interesting too. For me I have too many closer rides to complete, I meant to get to illinois this summer, but could not fit it in. Big loop cal to illinois to montana, maybe run it clockwise. If it is not too far, it may be worth it, I always meet people on rides and at events.

I am only 4 hours away from Americade (theoretically). The last 30 miles might take 2 hours. It's only $20 for a day pass.

Yeah, If I was that close and had the time I would probably go check it out. You never know.
