I consider it poor manners to call somebody dumb, simply because her opinions do not match yours. She would lose lots of fares if she spent time and effort carrying a helmet and helping her fares put it on and off. Many would refuse to wear a helmet that hundreds of others had worn.

For her line of work, a helmet would be a hazard, not a safety device.

For us, of course, a helmet is BOTH a safety device and a hazard.
Please never lose sight of the fact that your helmet can kill you.

I used to be a dispatch rider years ago, and I hated it. I stuck it for around 6 months. I used to do around 1000 miles a week, so that was a service every month. The last thing I wanted to do at weekend, was go for a ride on my bike.
