Really it's down to driver skill/ weight. The bikes aren't far off from each other. CBR is lighter and has more torque. Ninja has slightly more hp.The CBR250r can't keep up with the Ninja 250r. It just doesn't have the HP to hang with it but I think we could hang with it just fine in the fun category. I suggest you try one if you get a chance. You might be surprised how much you like it.![]()
yup... or not.
i havent even seen a cbr on the road yet, i havent seen them in shops either. So they must be getting sold. Hoping to meet some cbr owners around the area.
anyone go head to head with ninja 250r?
+1.....They are both great motos for the money and the fun factor !yawn.. so what would this be, battle of the midgets ?
the CBR is a fun bike with many endearing qualities. I had considered a Ninja 250 for a number of years as it's a good bike too...
There's a guy here that's actually been racing his CBR professionally against the Ninja 250s. I'm pretty sure he'd disagree with this.Really it's down to driver skill/ weight. The bikes aren't far off from each other. CBR is lighter and has more torque. Ninja has slightly more hp.
I would definitely ride with you, but there is a conspiracy to keep all cbr250s away from scorch. I don't even think they sold one in your state yet.im guessing it all depends on the rider just like any other bike. id love to ride with some cbr's and see them up close. i do like them quite a bit.
im guessing performance wise they are very close.
Ive noticed! i knew it was a consipiracy. All the same, if you are in the d.c. metro area let me know. i want to get a 250 gang going.I would definitely ride with you, but there is a conspiracy to keep all cbr250s away from scorch. I don't even think they sold one in your state yet.![]()
thats absolutely ridiculous. are you saying people with 600's are the only ones allowed to race? Or want to race?if you wanna race go buy a 600cc or bigger sport bike... 250s just don't have the umph. Especially if the course has a lot of straight-aways. I suppose in a race with tight corners and short straights it'd be quite a bit of fun. I've seen 250s pass 600s in the corners.
likewise if you make WA state.Ive noticed! i knew it was a consipiracy. All the same, if you are in the d.c. metro area let me know. i want to get a 250 gang going.
