Just thought I'd make a thread to post all my mods in as I go. In the Audi community most people mod to what we call OEM+, what this means is you don't change the major things. No body kits, unless it's off another Audi model like putting an S4 bumper on an A4. They just do things like wheels and little touches to make a more personalized car with out becoming flashy or "ricey". Well I've decided to adapt this to my CBR.

Currently:

Pro Grip Black/Red gel grips
Honda OEM tank pad
RAM mounts iPhone 4 mount
"Home Link" garage door opener added
Black exhaust cover
mykeport.com key

Next:
Suede seat
Black wheels with time attack strip (red strip)

Pictures

I should have cleaned the plastic before taking this picture lol

I haven't recieved the key yet but this is what it looks like

Where did you get the grips. They look good.
My local Honda dealer had them in stock. They are semi universal to bikes/quads.

they make real suede seat or like a synthetic suede? what happens if it gets wet?
I'm going to have one wrapped myself. Treat it just like you would a suede shoe! Spray it with water resistant spray cleaner stuff every once in a while and it should look good for a while.

And the stuff I use is an upholstery suede. It's not real but it's very high quality

Each side is a different size. My dealer knew enough to tell me they'd fit.

I think one side is an inch and the clutch side is 7/8's or so

I used the Harbor Freight impact screwdriver I got Impact Screwdriver Set with Case But you need to buy some quality bits for it because I broke 2 lmao. A good bit and that tool is as good as the Snap On ones lol.

well crap,i have alot of air tools but no impact screwdriver.
maybe i can put a tip in a 3/8 butterfly air driver.
thanks for the links:)
Just be careful not to strip the head on the screw, don't want your new bike looking banged up.

Granted if you ever leave it out when it rains it's not gonna be a fun ride home lol. You will definitely get a wet butt because it unfortunately can only repel so much water till it starts absorbing.

I've got several yards of this charcoal stuff I'm thinking of using, I really wanted black with red stitching like I saw in another thread though. Not sure if this charcoal color would fit because nothing else is charcoal colored. Pic for an idea of color

whats the point of the keyport?
My keys have been scratching the Honda logo and upper steering plate. I really hate scratches. The keyport will hold my Audi, Honda, Shop, Parents House, and Apartment key. And most importantly I get to top it off with a beer bottle opener in the extra slot hahaha. 1 key just a tad larger then my Audi's switch blade key instead of 5 keys. Much better!

Though I'll miss not having my switch blade key with me all the time lol
