We've had the 150cc version in Thailand since November 2010. The red and the black models are sexy as hell. Definitely nicer than the 250 colour schemes.

Different frame et al to the 250. And would imagine the 150 is completely gutless. A 125 2T, okay, but a 125 4T, no thanks.

There has been a nice update to the 2011 CBR125R. Now it looks just like the 250R. I'm calling on everyone in the US to start bugging your dealer to offer these so I can buy one to go with my 250.

It can be imported, you don't have to wait for the dealers down there to offer them (that's not gonna happen anyway).Check the 125R Canadian forum for details, but I've seen several people post there from the States details on how they imported their 125R to the US.

Isn't the problem with importing a bike to the U.S. licensing them once there in the U.S.? I would give almost anything to get the ultimate UJM, the 2011 CB1300 with ABS and fairing but with out a guarantee that I could license it, what's the point?

If anyone knows specifics I am all ears.

i like it alot,if i could get one with just a slight mark up i might get one if i can register it.
for just around town i think it would be a blast and run along time on a little amount of fuel.
and my size 160-165lbs it would be plently like my 250.

I talked to the dealer in Kingston, Ontario today. Kingston is an easy, two hour drive for me which is actually closer to my home than the dealer where I bought my 250R. He has two orange CBR125Rs sitting in crates. He called me back after checking and said he has no problem selling them to me but has no experience in what else I would have to do to get it across the boarder and titled and registered in New York.

that is the only thing that might be a problem.
i'm doing some investigating this coming week on registering
and being legal.if it's possible i'm getting one for sure:)


side note. i was riding today and a guy comes up on a
gsxr600 (i think). rode next to me for a mile or two then
blasted off in a 45 zone.next thing i see is a cop flying past me to pull
this other guy over:Di laughed all the way home:)

Very similar in appearance to the 250, that funky 250 exhaust is even a little funkier (read shorter) on the 125. Otherwise a very nice looking bike. Very practical for city work I would imagine. Sat on one that was parked right beside my 250 in the showroom right before I bought it, so I can vouch.

About a month ago, a Montreal Honda dealer had the CBR125RS Repsol listed for $3495.00 CND, out the door. I haven't checked the exchange rate recently, but a month ago it was about even with the US dollar. I wouldn't mind getting one of those bikes, I'm sure it would be a blast to ride.
