I recommend doing it yourself if you know how to use some sockets and ratchet. Beside the oil change everything else is just looking over the bike and replacing worn parts or adjusting tensions.

I had a 12,000 km (7,450 miles) service recently.
I had to bring the bike to a shop because I'm living in a small city appartement in. I have no garage and tools to make it by myself.

Those are the things they did:

  • Oil and oil filter chane
  • Brake fluid change
  • checking on ignition plug (was fine)
  • checking on air filter (was fine)
  • checking and lubing chain (need a new one at 20,000 km (12,430 miles) at the latest.
Total cost was €240 which is $260 (US) and $362 (CAN)

My stock tires were already changed after six years and 12,000 kilometers
