The original mirrors are very effective. Most of the time, the special designed mirrors are shorter so it is very difficult to use them effectively. Your designed mirrors look interesting, maybe you add a side and front pic? Also, what main bulb are you using?

I have a pair on order from Amazon. Reviews are mixed, mostly being difficult to see and loose. They do look clean though.
After you assemble, bring us pictures

Yeah I’ll agree if I’m going for some long distance riding I throw the factory ones back on it they are very efficient mirrors they just don’t look as good. That bulb is a Motoled made by camelight.

They’re only loose if you do t know how to put thek on right I’ve had to help a few people. That aren’t the best to see out of I’ll agree to the my other mirrors are superior in that aspect. If I’m going on ling ride I’ll throw the factory back on but around town these are fine.

When you put them on after tightening the Allen head bolt they still won’t be fully tight. After you get them on the bike you gotta spin them to tighten them right
