Hi all,

Just a quick intro of myself...I will be buying my first bike within the next week or so.

Completely new to riding so I figured the CBR 250 would be a great beginners bike. I deliberated between this and the Ninja but the difference in price helped me make up my mind.

I thought the Ninja sure was a MUCH nicer looking bike (in pictures) but when I went to see them in person, I realised what a beautiful machine the CBR is too!!

I'm sure I will love it...even here on the dangerous roads of Las Vegas...Wish me luck!! ha

This is indeed a great beginner bike. I myself was totally new to riding just a few months ago. Have you taken a class? The MSF BRC won't make you a proficient rider by any means, but it's a great start. I wouldn't let anyone in my family get on a bike without some kind of training.

Not yet, I am considering it though.

I think it would be worth it.
