Meh, it looks like they handed the responsibility of building a CBR250R competitor over to their cruiser design team. And like their cruisers, it just looks hideous.

Does it use the GZ250 engine? Sure looks like it.

No wonder Suzuki is going thru bankruptcy in the US... day late, dollar short!

It's a twin and there's a radiator up front under the fuel tank.

So it's a new motor.

Why oh why couldn't it have been a GSX-R250 instead of this monstrosity? The only reason I bought a Honda was the Suzi didn't have a sport 250, and then when they merged with Kawi, my blue and white (or blue and yellow) days were numbered...

My first bike was a GZ250, which I'm converting to a cafe racer:

I agree with the whole GSX-R250 thing. If they could come up with one of those and Yamaha could do a YZF-R250 instead of the 125 versions we get then everyone would be happy

I like the center stand, gauge cluster and turn signals but the seat and head light turn me off to the bike as a whole.

Happy to see its a twin. Really dont think anybody else will follow hondas foot steps and put another thumper out there.
