Welcome to the forum Deah! To answer all of your questions with incredible clarity:
1) Thinking about : ...so are we.........
2) Repeated issues so far: not enough bikes to go around..or even close.
3) The great abs debate: go for it.
4) Aftermarket: coming soon to a store or web site near you....

the bike has just come to America, literally yesterday I think the first bikes were delivered to Virginia, so no word on issues yet. Remember though, it is a Honda
ABS is a yes
Not too much on aftermarket items yet, for the same reason that it has only been here for about a day.

Welcome the the forum! just search around here there are a ton of info about the bike here.
As for aftermarket support it isn't to huge yet , though if you could get in contact with the people from Thailand there seem to be tons of parts there!
