Think the fuel injected 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 is just a warmed over 250? Think again. MCN is already testing the European model, and posted this brief report. According to MCN, the Ninja 300 has a high quality, big bike look and feel about it, and saw an indicated 112 mph on the Autobahn . . . possibly capable of 120 mph. Well beyond the territory previously covered by 250s, whether single or twin.

Yeah they are quick. Went for a ride yesterday and there was one in town. He kept wheel standing off the lights. While waiting for the lights I was talking to him and he said it's speed limited to 180kph. And they look ******************** good in the flesh too.

i haven't seen one close up yet but i'm sure they'd look awesome! the 180km/hr retsriction is interesting, must be to do with LAMS, i wonder if you are allowed to remove it if you are off LAMS? :)

I'd still go for the 600 if you're gonna keep the 250. The 300 is still the same type of bike, even with better numbers.
yeah, but i wouldn't be keeping the cbr. I was thinking for a little bit more money i could get an awesome looking ninja with quite a bit more power that would satisfy me, or a 600cc supersport which i've wanted for a while but costs more and i don't know whether i really need it for the street :)

I sat on one Friday but as tall as I am my knees hit the angle of the tank and faring pieces. Very uncomfortable. I was really thinking about buying one but not anymore. I can not find MPG on the bike either.
See the MPG challenge on the side bar.

2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 First Ride - Motorcycle USA

Based on that alone, I would imagine real-life mpg is around 55-65 mpg, may be slightly more if you drive very sedate. Just guessing - could be wrong.
