Hey guys, theres a local shop in my area that makes no cut frame sliders and various other bike things. They wanna use my bike and offering to put the sliders on and give me a free bike stand. Ive seen the sliders on ebay for $119 and thats crazy expensive. Well these guys would have em for maybe half that. Just wondering if you guys are interested so I'll ask them if we can get a discount on a group buy. Once I get a price on em Ill let you guys know.

I talked to them today and set an appointment to drop it off monday. But while I drove to work today the traffic was moving pretty fast and I decided to go to the honda dealership after work and traded my 250r in for a 600rr. That shop told me he would give us a good discount. He said he was gonna call me friday and confirm again. Well I dont have that bike anymore but there was some guys at the dealership buying the cbr 250 and I told them about it and got their numbers because they were really interested. So they will take my spot and get the frame sliders. Ill keep u guys posted. They said it will take them about 3 days so once they guys get them on ill post pics with price. Its been nice to be in this forum, all of you guys have been great. Oh and if you wanted to know they gave me $3,500 for my trade.

Right after this pic was taking I dropped the bike in the driveway and got a scratch on right side. I was so used to the 250 being light. When I lost balance it went down and I used all my strength and couldnt keep it from dropping :(. It was like in slow mo and was very dramatic. Cant see it in the pic but my driveway is at a high incline into the garage and I had the bike at an angle where when it went tippin it doesnt wanna come back up. And I got the 600rr that had powder coated wheels included..very nice. If you guys wanna check out that place thats doing the sliders its www.t-rexracing.com .

Nice bike!.. So what made you trade in the 250 for the 600?..
I put 2k miles on the bike and I havnt even gotten my license plate on it yet so I do alot of highway miles. And around here sometimes traffic flows at 75+mph, so after a long time thinking about it i decided to upgrade because its alot easier on the 600. The 250 can get the job done but the dealer gave me an awesome deal I couldnt resist. Im in love with this cbr600 but theres one thing I kinda miss. The very low monthly payments and dirt cheap insurance. My insurance went from $40/month on the 250 to $160/month on the 600. I can do 1week on 1 tank of gas on the 250 but I burnt thru one tank on the 600 in one day. Truthfully I wish I didnt trade it in and just bought the 600 as a highway bike and the 250 as my daily commuter/work bike. The 600 is a big difference vs the 250 but the 250 is so much more easy on the pocket and it looks good too. I probably would buy another cbr250 down the line after they get more aftermarket parts for it. I know its a very new bike and I have to give it some time. I do recommend everyone go thru a 250 before jumping on a bigger cc bike, the cbr250 has taught me sooo much during that short period of me having it. One thing the cbr250 need i think is a steering damper like the HESD(honda electric steering damper) on my 600. Its like a dream to drive with that, and if they would have one on the cbr250 it would make that bike so much more fun on the highway.
