The oil drain plug is on the left side of the crank case. The plug you pulled is for something else and sits higher. You didn't quite let all of the oil out.

Changed oil and filter today there was no gasket on the drain bolt. Checked engine side thinking maybe it was just stuck to the motor but it wasnt. Didnt leak owners manual does show a gasket???? Not a big fan of the thorx drain bolt either wish they would have just used a regular bolt. Anyone one else had this happen to them? Going to make a run to the dealer to fine out whats going on
