info from honda canada

Hi everyone - i contacted my dealer in ontario a week ago and he too was saying 'april', but given Honda Canada's vague response to the e-mail inquiry, it makes me seriously question of anyone there knows, or wants to tell us when they may arrive. sure is poor PR. from a business perspective, they would be better to be straight with customers than give them a non-answer like 'spring'. meanwhile, the weather here continues to improve. sure hope it gets here soon or I too will go out and buy a ninja, as there is a modest rebate on them here. it would be unfortunate as the honda is clearly the technological leader, and i'm sure resale will be higher.

just received an e-mail back from my dealer in ontario saying that he has not heard anything different from honda canada ie still saying april. we'll see about that i guess

so its sounding more and more like may 16 in Canada. thanks for the updates from everyone! still a delay, but if its true at least we'll be riding on the long weekend

update from honda canada

just got off the phone with customer relations at honda canada. they confirmed that shipments of the 250 will begin may 16. i asked if shipments will be less than anticipated due to issues in Japan etc, but he said that's not accurate - they are expected to deliver what was ordered. He said i should have my bike by the end of May at the latest. here's hoping this is true...
