Thanks for the part number Mongoose!
Thursday I called my dealer to schedule my 600 mile service and he was overeager to set a time. I had to slow him down and ask if he had the oil filter available. He said "Of course." I then pointed out that folks on the forums have been having difficulty getting a hold of the proper filter since this is a brand new bike. He asked again what the bike was and said he would check with the parts guys and get back to me. I asked if he wanted the part number and he seemed surprised that I had it, but took down the number. Nearly 5 hours later I got a message that they didn't have the filter, were trying to get one delivered from Honda overnight and that they would get back to me today.
Just wanted to mention this to anyone else who might have their 600 mile service coming up. Make sure the dealership has the correct parts in stock before you make your appointment (unless you like making several trips for your first scheduled service). :thumbdown:
