the first 3 upgrades i want to do to my bike is fender eliminator, integrated tail and flush mount front turns. there really only seems to be one company making them. i prefer the smoke style as i bought the 2012 black 250r and i wanna go for a completly black theme. my question is mainly what do u guys think about going flush mount instead of the little ears that normally stick out? is there a certain brand i should lean towards? any to avoid? all opinions welcome. thanks in advance.

I wouldn't install them due to visibility concerns, especially after I got my CBR and noticed the indicators stay on while the bike is running (so it adds 2 more lights for people to notice/see).

Also, depending on where you live, I think there are rules/laws regarding how 'far apart' turn signals must be, so by installing flush mounts you might also be running the risk of a ticket (or an additional one if you piss a cop off).

Wouldn't go flush for the reasons stated above. Not a big fan of the integrated tail light, either. I've behind bikes with them a few times and I can see where someone following might not be able to realize what was being signaled. For me, I'm more interested in making the existing lighting brighter.

i kinda figured this would be the response. i was very iffy on them because i wasn't sure how well they can actually be seen. but that answered my question quite well. i would still like to find a bit of a sleeker designed signal then what comes on the bike. its a bit of an eyesoar. but then again visual hurt is no where near as bad as getting nailed because someone didn't see where u were going.

I have to say I'm pretty iffy on the flush mounts Im getting as well but I think I have a solution. Since the ones that Im getting sit out on the side fairing (not really flush but i guess more flush than the stock ones) I figured that I would get universal integrated turn signal mirrors as well, that way I make my bike look more customized and I create more angles of visibility. As for the rear I was also iffy on the integrated tail light. well I found these universal turn signals that are curved for a slimmer profile yet combined with a fender eliminator kit should look pretty sick.

Buy motorcycle led Lights, motorcycle led Turn Signals lamp, LED Signals Light, 2pcs Motorcycle LED Indicators Turn Signals Blinkers Custom Flush LED Indicators Universal Fit at Aliexpress.com

I know its probably going to make me look like a christmas tree at night but all of those mods will probably cost me under $200, keep me more visible at night, and hopefully make my CBR look super sexy :D

Ill definitely keep you guys posted on those upgrades in the very near future.

T-Minus 18 days til my msf course begins

The Hotbodies brand is too short screws and install them there's no room for the wires, they are bruised. The lights have a very low intensity and the supplement does not work because the lamps are completely inside the cowling. The quality of the support of the turn signal is poor, do not buy this item Hotbodies, Honda technical personnel in Colombia refused. I returned to put the original lights

Im looking for something like this

My bike is black, i kind of like the amber on black look, not to crazy about the clears or smoked ones.

Which ones were you thinking of?

Hi,
I am in Bogota, my bike has 4500 KM and I bring my bike to Honda but with restrictions, only to review as it is not put his hand because they still do not know this machine. As an example, when changing the oil filter should remove the right fairing, as the screws are not all equal then they are removed or exchanged, when requested to adjust the height of the shifter left loose screws and end up doing the job. I'm learning a lot in the forum to avoid bringing my machine to inexperienced technicians

I put x-arc lights on my crf230m, and not only are they brighter, but they are running lights. you can put them on the rear that are red running lights, extra brake, and amber turn. 300 lumens, and they are coming out with a flushmount soon.
The cbr has front running lights only. I can see people in cages looking at my lights, they dont just notice, they look. for my crf it was about 300.00, and I had to add resistors, but well worth it. these lights are bright in daylight.
check them out; HighTechSpeed - motorcycle high technology

These do look great. Protrude enough to be seen from the front, look fairly bright.
