Craigslist special. A college grad bought it 6 weeks ago, put on 400 miles, spray painted a bunch of parts terrible frat boy color, including the wheels - yikes - then decided he was ready for a 600cc.
But the bike should be like new, and hopefully I can strip or repaint the really ugly parts. The guy is leaving it outside on the streets of Philly too. It's my rescue operation. Hopefully he doesn't sell it out from under me before the rain lets up.
I've been out of biking for several years to raise babies. I wanted a small bike, but no carbs after a really really bad experience trying to rebuild an old Seca 550.
Happy to see a healthy forum, as I'm hoping to do most maintenance myself.
