Hi Gang..

We just recently sold our CanAm Spyders and decided to get a couple bikes. My bike isn't in yet (Ducati Monster 796) but we picked up the wife's one last night. I am quite surprised with it. The fit and finish on it for being a cheap bike is outstanding. Rides and scoots fantastic for 250cc. Honda knocked the ball out of the park with this machine. My wife is nervous with it so it will take her a bit to get used to it. Anyhow great forum yous' have going here.

The old Spyders..They were a blast to ride.

The fastest and cheapest improvement you'll ever make:

Pop off that muffler heat shield, give it a rub with some high grit count sandpaper, buy yourself some low-gloss high heat black spray paint, and put a couple of coats on that thing!

I couldn't stand the look of that silver heat shield on my black CBR. I think it's less of a problem with the red.

Happy riding.

I also got a black CBR 250 for my wife and she loves it. Its light weight and easy to move around. She can sit on it with her feet flat on the ground. We ordered a yosh slip on exhaust for it she said it was to quiet
