Anyone have any experience with this stuff? I've really been thinking hard about painting my rims black on my bike. I can't really afford to have it done professionally, and I don't want to rattle-can them and have it come out looking like crap.

Powder coating isnt that dear , i called up a local place where i lived, they said $120 include sand blasting for the rims, and the silver guards next to the foot pegs

i reckon a much better idea then plastic dip

Seriously, I say it in jest. There is a lot of information on plasti dip on this forum, you just need to search for it. I think there are more than just 5 people but I could probably name 5 that, when combined, have completed or pioneered every mod on this forum and are happy to share their knowledge and enthusiasm with anyone who wants to listen.

Just remember that to powder coat your rims you need to remove/ reinstall the tires, balance the rims and replace the wheel bearings.

i did my windshield when i bought mine around 6000 miles ago.
still looks great with no peeling.if enough cleaning prep is done you will have great results.ppl that have had a problem with the spray havent used it or not done the prep right imo.
